As you all know, last Friday two teams from Gulshan-e-Maymar campus went to the KDA…
Disciplinary Committee Oath Taking Ceremony
Monday, 31st August 2026, marked a memorable morning for Beacon Light Academy’s KDA Campus, as students and staff gathered for the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected student leadership team. Unlike previous years, this year’s leaders were chosen through an online voting system, giving every student from Grades 6 to 10 a direct voice in shaping who would represent them.
The atmosphere was one of anticipation mixed with pride. Days of campaigning led up to this moment, and as students settled into the assembly area, there was a palpable sense that something meaningful was about to happen.
The assembly ground filled with applause and cheers from classmates who had voted them into these roles. From each class, one student was nominated by their class teacher to serve as proctor. As each of these proctors stepped up on the stage to take their oath, there was a shared sense of pride across the assembly, with classmates cheering on their chosen representatives for the responsibility and reliability they had shown to earn the role. Taha Shaikh and Haneen Khan were sworn in as Head Boy and Head Girl, with Abdul Haadi and Umme Abaan taking their oaths as Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl. Each stepped forward to loud applause from their classmates, The Disciplinary Committee took the oath, promising to serve their fellow students with honesty, fairness, and a genuine sense of duty — not as figures of authority, but as peers who had earned the trust of those around them.
In the remarks that followed, it was reminded the newly appointed team that leadership at this level isn’t about titles — it’s about showing up consistently, listening to fellow students, and setting an example worth following.
The ceremony closed on a hopeful, energetic note — a mix of pride from the newly sworn-in leaders and quiet excitement from their classmates, all eager to see what this fresh leadership team would bring to KDA Campus in the session ahead.
